When I Applied for mine, I was pleased to find that I had to supply relevant information to prove that I was actually and currently working as a professional electrician.
if everyone has been through a similar vetting process the odds are good!!
I wasn’t vetted. Possibly because I’ve been an active member since 2015.

I’ve noticed a few members are joining the forum and I suspect some are saying they are trainees or returning to the industry or just qualified in order to get more advice than we would give to DIY ers.

I only suspect this, but their terminology or knowledge lets them down quite often and they get caught out. At this point I stop contributing to the thread.

Trainees, or ones with the tag, are vetted by the admins. They have to prove where they are studying etc..
 
tell you what ,most see someone thats retired as 102 nowt else to do in life ,,hahhahahaha ,,,,peeps with this attitude are kids themselves ,with lots of yrs paying the irs and not caring about pension because they are scrapping thro with a baby a wife and holidays needed ,we have all been there ….im 57 18th edition and packed up cause I have have my fill and got plenty to live on ,so why graft untill I kick it ,this might seem smug but it bugs me when you here the others
