Discuss Change of consumer unit in the Industrial Electricians' Talk area at ElectriciansForums.net

What utter clap trap.[/QUO

I was told the same thing , I rang up and complained to the NIC about an issue on the customers behalf , they said the customer has to contact the contractor and put the complaint in writing to him , if its not dealt with by the contractor , the customer is to then write to the NIC , and they would sort it out , talk about throwing obstacles in the path , If someone was misusing their logo or whatever they would soon want to know..

If the OP can get a copy of the MWC for the CU change and send it to the NICEIC - they will do nothing????

In which case the OP should write the letter on behalf of the client and get them to sign it.

Talk about teethless tigers!
