Hi all just wondering if can shed some light on best way to get rid of TV point. The tv point is going under floor and the floor has been laminated flooring all on the ground level so unable to get under floor to gain access to amplifier, that the TV coax cables terminate to. Now the cable is in behind the wall and then going down under floor, the client is wanting the TV points taking away so can wall paper over. Will it be acceptable to take coax out of box and cut back the braid and cutting the centre core away then installing self amalgamating tape over the end of the cable to isolate the end, obviously realise this is not a power cable or lightning cable? Thanks in advance ?

Are there other points that need to stay working? If so (or if you think its a powered amp that you can't turn off) it would probably be a good idea to seperate the centre core and screen to make sure they arent shorting out, as this could stop the rest from working. Chopping through them with a nice sharp pair of cutters should be enough though.
