Hi , I doubt there will be a regulation against it but is there a maximum distance in a domestic property between the cut out and meter and the fuse board for the flat? Currently in a flat iv been at there is a redundant storage heater board beside the meter and main cut out which will be ripped out but the domestic lights and sockets etc are supplied from a board about 15meters away. This board is supplied by a 16mm split concentric cable which I have been advised is okay. Not ideal for flat fuse board to be 15meters from the main fuse etc has anyone seen a set up like this before?

I would also recommend installing a local isolation switch within 3 meters of the consumer unit .

ive seen farm houses where the meter is at the bottom of the road around 300m away, old tt systems with mem isolators in little stone built bunkers half way up the road..

Cheers yes there is a 60amp switch fuse beside the meter protecting the main board 15m away. Okay cheers yeah the more I get into it the more I think moving the board to beside the meter and doing a partial rewire is best plan , thanks for input
