Hi, I'm after a bit of validation please just to make sure I have got the right setup. I am looking at installing some 240V GU10 IP65 rated buried uplighters into my decking. I would like to control the lights using a wireless dimmer that I have chosen (please see photo attached) and power the setup from a mains socket.
I have previously wired GU10 downlights and am comfortable converting a ceiling rose to a series of downlights, but I would like to double check that GU10 uplights can also be mains powered? If so, the dimmer switch has the option of being wired with a neutral wire, which I will have as it's mains powered but I'm not sure how this setup will be earthed. I won't be installing anything yet and may bring in an electrician for this job, but would like to check if I have understood the setup correctly.
