Devi touch thermostat

Can the Devi touch be installed within a bathroom without being in a cupboard etc. thanks

I am pretty sure they are not IP rated so not good in the zones and I have seen one that was in an airing cupboard and got wet with a nice trail of corrosion over the circuit board.
If it is not likely to get over steamed then it should be OK but the other side of the wall may be better if possible.

Yes steam or damp will damage the controller

Manual that i just looked at says it is IP21 and should not be put into wet rooms
