hi all

Hope everyone is keep safe in these sad times. Sorry for the stupid question but I wqs wondering if anyone has the dewalt dcv584l wet and dry vacuum.

I just purchased a second hand one off ebay and the seller is not much help.

But wqs wondering how the hell do I connect the attachments that come with. I am assuming there is a attachment missing but would like to double check what attachments is required

Pic 1 attachs to the hose, there will be a theaded end and a more solid end on the hose, the treaded end screws in to that piece, the other is an attachment that fits on to something that connects onto the other side of the hose connection, it just twists to lock once its on somewhere, eaay to swap from wall chaser to hoover that way.
 
The part in the first pic is a dewalt adaptor for fitting the hoover to a dust extraction port on a mitre saw, palm sander etc it’s universal to dewalt tools, the bit you are attempting to fit in it would go on the other end of the flexible hose once the length of plastic tubing has been attached.....alternatively the smaller end of the dewalt adapter would go on the flexi hose and then connect to the saw etc
