does my ecs card act as a cscs card ?

i have applied for a job and they are asking for my cscs card i was wondering if my ecs is basically the same as a cscs card ??

The ECS card is just the electrical version of the CSCS. as an electrician you have to have the ECS not a CSCS nowadays

Yes. It's on the top left, underneath your name.

Ah yes, that could be a SJIB card.

The JIB cards used to use your NI number.
Then they changed to this new numbering system about 4 or 5 years ago.
When did you last re-new your card.

Your ECS card should have a hologram in the top left corner. And guess what, it twinkles when you move it.
Oh yes almost forgot, It also says CSCS.:wink_smile:

are you talking about your grade card or your ecs,your ecs should have you name and number on the left and your photo on the right,hologram etc as prev posts.your grade card with have your name and ni number on,

my card has my picture in the right hand side my name on the left with my NI under it then at the top is says cscs ecs electrotechnical certification scheme
