Working on a machine today (US) and was told the three phase 415v-200v trasformer was faulty, I was tolod the centre tapping on the secondary was down so I tested and found 200v across the phases but 0v to the V terminal to earth, I was expecting this as I know (from previous experience) that this terminal is earthed to the transformer frame and obviously no potential difference is present.
Im not the worlds best on transformers, I assumed this transformer was wired delta-star and the secondary star point is earthed but I was asked to give more info to the engineer...to be honest I couldnt lol can anyone elaborate
