hi iam a electrician and have come a cross a job thats new to me its on a set of doors that open as you come in front of the sencer but the problem is on the way in they do not open can any 1 who as work on these door help please and say what i should be looking for thanks alan

faulty sensor, broken connection, you need to open things up and have a look. try swapping the external and internal sensors, see it the fault goes to the inside.

so if i strip down the sencer that works and look at how it is connected up then check the faulty 1 to see any cable damage if not sencer is broken how much are these sencers and thanks

Is there not a selector switch on the doors somewhere??

Sometimes it's a simple rocker switch on the door unit itself, sometimes a stand alone key switch located above or to the side of the door etc.

hi lenny its all new to me sorry pal so if i go to the swicth am i looking for a break in the cable or a faulty swicth getting out of the block is fine but getting in you have got to pull it with your hands thanks alan

you need to find out the make and model of the door motor, most of these have a built in control board,it could be the pir/the motor/the board, anything could be at fault
