Discuss Electrician provided 17th Edition EICR and says its ok in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Made an error on special locations already and ticked both boxes for RCD fault protection and additional protection when one should have been N/A and the next should have been a tick.

Ironically, we have electrical knowledge ourselves and only have NICEIC membership on board to assist with a certain profile of work we do. Although we don't do EICR's ourselves, it's ironic that we have more knowledge than many electricians that practice it all the time. At least that's my perception. Far, far too many cowboys around.
That is a napit EICR sheet not NICEIC.
There is nothing stopping you from carrying out an EICR yourself if you feel you are more competent than many electricians.
An interesting choice of words for an electricians forum god dang it.

He’s also keyed ‘Jan 2018’ in section D for version of regs revision. There was no regs revision in Jan 2018, prior to the 18th the current version was 17th AMD3 2015.
