Late night call out to a night club with no lights but a lot of glowing areas !

Whilst the revellers were uninterested in me I slipped by with my trusted head torch on in to the depths of the basement and the main board.

As you can see from the pictures the main incoming diff had been linked out on one phase and a neutral in the past by an unknown person ( although the energy supplier`s contractor had been in there last ), likely to keep the failing unit alive. Of course now another one of the other phase contacts had failed and hence no feed to sub boards and lighting etc.

Quite what they were thinking when linking the unit out like that, the upshot was I said the whole board needing changing as it was over loaded and getting hot, it was like a rats nest in there and thankfully as it was approaching 2.00 am the owner sensibly decided to close the bar so we could regroup the next morning.
