I have a fitted Zanussi microwave combi -oven which has stopped working. Door switches etc are OK as I have a 240 volt supply to the high voltage transformer, this transformer checks out OK. I did find the high voltage diode was faulty and changed this but oven still did not work. As I understand things if there is a 240 volt supply to the high voltage transformer then the fault must be with the transformer itself, the diode, capacitor or the magnatron. The transformer is OK, the diode checks out OK, have replaced capacitor with a known good one so this leaves the magnatron. There is a continuous very low reading between the two terminals and no leakage to earth and no visible signs of any damage, is there any other way of testing the magnatron or does anyone have any suggestions on what I may have missed.

I know it would probably be easier to buy a new micro wave oven but this unit matches up to the fitted oven and is no longer available. Thank you for reading this any help or advice will be gratefully received.

The unit is a Zanussi micro wave combi oven model:ZKC44500XA

I can't really help on this one, but be bloody careful around that high voltage capacitor.

There is one available (from my favourite source of otherwise unavailable things ?), but lots of £££ !

Edit: there is confusion in model numbers in the listing - might be worth checking out exactly what is for sale.
