i need feed back about the fluke 165x series multifunction tester....anyone haveing problems with them error 5....>2000 ohms...inconsistant readings..etc...etc

Having used the 1652 - the leads are the weak point, especially when changing points to crocks.
It would be better if you had 2 sets of leads ones with crocodiles and others with points.

anyone had probs with the large lead with the test button on??? mine packed up today only 3 months old :(

the switched probe?

dont use one myself (although I know they can be easier for IR testing)

what do you mean by packed up? Just wont work at all?

I've got the 1653 only had the odd high reading on continuity, but find squeezing the crock clips sorts that out.
Otherwise found it a fine bit of kit over the past 3-4 years

>2000 ohms ...... make sure the fuse is sat right in the lead, tighten the thread right up.
error5 ............. from memory is excessive noise on the circuit under test, retest or use the scroll button to view test result
