Discuss Fusebox located in bathroom in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

If you were to drink a bellyfull of Worthington and then wandered into the Bathroom to set an RCD you could possibly be in a little bit of bother
If you had drunk the same amount of Nuclear brown ale, you would be too out of your head to even consider the RCD problem

The moral being,Having a fuse box in there means Worthington could be bad for your health

I haven't seen it yet. Client called me a few days go and asked if it would need to be moved. I'm looking at it tomrrow. As far as I know its In cupboard within another cupboard... In bathroom. Very unlikely anyone would decide to open fuse box whilst dripping wet and in the starkers.

It's been there since the 70s. I've only ever seen one fuse box on bathroom before whilst working for my old boss. He said it was fine as it was enclosed in a cupboard.

When I go and look I will check to see how easily accessible it is and any sign of water. Bit of a tough one as don't see this everyday

Is it? - it may trip while someone is showering (no knowing what some people will do).
