Discuss Gas Fireplace switch not connected to Electrical Panel? in the Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net
No not unless you can find out where it's fed from, what it it's suppose to control, and more importantly where you can safely isolate it.Hi all
I want to replace the switch that turns on/off the gas fireplace and cannot find a breaker that would shut off the power to the switch. I thinks it's a stand alone switch to the fireplace.
Is this correct?
Is it safe to disconnect and replace?
Thx!
The topic is from a year ago. The OP has probably sorted this now, or has succumbed to electric shock. It's an awareness thread as well as a nice post. without a breaker, it probably causes danger. So, I request you discuss this matter with an expert.
