hi all,

been to look at a job and the gas supply is via a tank outside in the garden, the pipework is bonded internally at the point of entry, this is accaptable isnt it?

Within 600mm of the service meter or at the point of entry if the service meter is external. You most probably don't have a service meter so point of entry will be ok. If the gas tank is a Calor tank it might be worth checking that there is not a bonding cable on the tank. They used to run these on some of their older tanks.

cheers tony yeah it is a calor tank, i couldnt see a bond on it tho unless is somewhere totally un obvious!!
pleased point of entry is ok as it would be a bugger to get a bond over to the tank!
