How many kw do you need to pile ?
We were going to self pile a 100kw on a job next week , but the manufacture of the mounts were very iffy about us doing so ourselves ( warranty issues on the galv ) and strongly pushed us towards auguring out the post positions first and then back filling with concrete .

Just a thought, what is the ground like? Have you dug any test holes?
As was our mounting system , but the technical design rep was not impressed at all on a site visit when we suggested that we were going to pile it ourselves .

I believe Beba Energy UK own specialist pile driving equipment that you can hire or contract them to install the uprights. Expensive stuff though.

Hundreds of farmers have post drivers that will do this sort of thing, usually just needs a special cap to protect the end that's being hit.

Post drivers work but they are a much more blunt instrument - it's difficult to get the spacing and alignments 100% accurate using that but they are much cheaper.
Some of the 'saunas' in Edinburgh have vibrating posts. I'm sure one of the girls would drive it down to you.....
