Discuss Has anyone come across this type of cable for a submain. in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Perhaps it is me and my phone, but it looks like sleeving on both n&e to me, if not and it's been done correctly then I stand corrected.

If they have managed to sleeve the neutral so well with no copper showing at the cable end and such precisely sized sleeving then I would have thought they'd do the same with the earth instead of using loose fitting sleeving with copper showing at the cable end.

The number of strands in the earth appears to be correct for split con and also they look to be thicker than the neutrals.

It's definitely split con - there'd simply be no point in anyone having done anything else!
