Hi all,

Got a install that really struggles to get digital tv and considering the few neibours all have free sat dishes I'm looking for some advice.

Current setup,
Wall mounted tv's .
Mast head amp and 8 way booster.
Phone and cat at every tv unused.
All tv fed from single tv coaxial from booster
I'm looking for advice on installing one sat dish on chimney and free sat on all TV's hopefully without use of adding in free sat boxes to each tv.

Other option is upgrading each tv to free sat TV's overtime.

Advice please?

hi, did you get any further with this? you have plenty of options but id assume they will want to watch independantly in each room and therfore, you will want the tiny set top boxes starpped to rear of each tv. They are dirt cheap at less than 20 quid each but you will also want probably an octo LNB and high grade satelie cable like ct100 or rg6 depending on run lengths. The thing i will say is that the epg is poor on cheap boxes. I did one multi room sky job recently and we stashed a few boxes remotely in a cupboard and ran hdmi over single cat5 or cat6 to hdmi and then used the coaxial for magic eye purposes. He already had the cards though and bagged some cheap sky boxes online. always interested to hear what others do on multi rooms as i do a big variation of AV installations but everydays a school day!
