No one does cash jobs do they? Don't mind doing him a favour as he's done me some good turns in the past.

Don't worry if it's the going rate if your confident you can earn the money you want then go for it. Make the quotation as descriptive as possible, you don't want 101 things being added by the customer for free, if you clearly document what your installing then can be charged additionally if needed. Just a tip... when I first started on my own I made the mistake of pricing everything on best case sinario..... never happens.
