Hi there could anyone give me a rough idea about how long it would take 1 or 2 people to do a kitchen rewire (council houses) when running trunking through the front room. The premises are vacant and the kitchens are small and the fridge freezers and ovens are still in the kitchen and have to stay in. Its also chasing out into brick walls and the kitchens each contain roughly 4 dbl sockets and 4 spurs. Any ideas please.

Do loads of kitchens and I would say roughly a day. If the bricks walls are anything like the walls round here there is every chance when sinking the boxes the bricks will shatter. If so it will take time to sort out and get the boxes straight so it would be worth doing them first.

You have not mentioned bonding or RCD protection so I am assuming they are ok.
