How to get experience in Electrical industry.

I just completed my L-3 Diploma in electrical installation,and qualified with 17th edition and PAT.I am looking for Job as Electrician's mate.But I don't know where and how to start. Can anybody help me?

Welcome to the forum.

You have now come to the crunch point that can cause a lot of difficulty for many.
You really need to get your details out there and start contacting all the electrically biased companies you can think of, building maintenance, facilities management, letting agents, even electricians!

Get your CV prepared and get someone else to check it out for errors.
Write a brief introduction letter and tailor it each time to the particular company you are contacting.
Call on companies and see if you can talk to the personnel / human resources / boss person who is responsible for hiring, alternatively talk to the head electrician and see if they can sway things.


Always emphasise the positive points of what you can supply for the company and appear confident (even if you are actually quaking in your boots!).

Contact people and ask, they can only say no at worst and you have not lost anything but if they say yes then you are there.
