Hi,
I've been asked to install 12 x 2.4kw infared panel heaters in a church. The cable run for the furthest point of the first row of 2 heaters is 44m, next is 40m, 36m, 32m, 28m, 24m. The plan is to have 3 x interlinked thermostats. I've never installed this type of system before and was wondering if anyone had any possible snags, advice for me with regards power distribution? I've worked out that the maximum demand for just this system is just over 125amps....I'm thinking splitting the system over two phases, possibly three?
Thanks guys

I read somewhere that churches in the UK have some special kinda requirements or standards

Infrared heaters are the way to go for large open space buildings such as churches and function halls etc, where trying to heat up the space would be almost impossible and /or electrically astronomically expensive to do so.

I would definitely spread the load over 3 phases, you would be totally daft NOT to!! The churches supply must be of a sufficient size mind, to supply this additional load. Or are these infrared heaters replacing an old outdated / defunct heating system??
