LAP (Screwfix) twin and earth

Good evening all,

Anyone used any of this yet?

Reason I ask is that it's on offer at the minute, 2.5mm 100M for £47.

Apparently it's made by Prysmian so should be OK would you think?

I am sure I have seen some comment about it being OK.
I have used it and cannot remember any problems.

LAP as a brand has been around a lot longer than shagfix, but the Prysmian (as far as I know) manufacture under the brands of Prysmian and Draka, so I can't see what would be in it for them.

I pay £47 or thereabouts for genuine Prys so why take the chance? I made the mistake of buying a load of 'cheap' cable on a site a while back and it just bit me in the arse with poor readings once installed.....and the OP has worked in a couple of them for me!

Looks okay, bet you could get a decent make for that cost at a wholesaler though

Have to agree - I pay less for 2.5 at the wholesalers. Nail them down on price and support your local wholesaler

I've used it for all sort of jobs......walking the dog.......towing the van.......skipping.......and most recently strangling my wife. I can't say I had any problems with it but what I will say is always have the hole dug before you kill her...

Denmans did me 5 drums last week for 38 plus VAT for 2.5 and 25 plus VAT for 1.5
