I got a set of 10 rods with the flexi, hook and one with a hole for less than £20. Still going strong. What kind of abuse are these rods getting into...Buy a cheapo £10.99 set on eBay, use them for a few days. You'll soon have a HUGE appreciation of just how good the SuperRods are. Yeah, I've snapped a few yellows over the years, but only once ever have I had the brass bit pull off the end (on a red one). The cheapo set will have no brass bits left by the end of the week!!

Only if you over bend them or cut into them whilst getting tape off.The armeg rods are good! £30 for 10 have abused mine daily and yet to snap one.
The cheap blue sets are great for fibreglass splinters!
