megger 1710 problem

hi I have a megger 1710 and for some reason the earth loop reading for sockets keeps coming up 0.01 on any socket I test. Anyone ever had this problem?

I would check your leads, it sounds like the line lead is connecting to the earth so you are getting minimum reading.

Have you put in fresh batteries ? I got the 1730 so I cAn recharge them, sometimes turning off and on resets some funny goings on, what's the firmware version? Is it up to date?
