Megger cm500 opinions.

Hi. Thinking of buying a used cm500 tester with a years calibration. What's your opinions on this? Thanks

the cm500 was around £850 + VAT new, it features ramp test and data storage. lovely tester.

That's the MFT (CM 500) i have. courtesy of the contractor a couple of projects ago!! lol!!

It's also selectable between UK and EU testing parameters, (Well my version is anyway)...

I have a CM500 MFT, been using one for years' nice easy two wire testing.

It's only just been discontinued by Megger too, superceeded by the top of the range 1730. Going by the teething problems they have had with the 1700 series, sticking with the CM500 is a far better bet!! A well proven bit of kit that has and does everything you need lol!! ....
