In the market for a new multifunction tester what Is the best value for money out there ?

I bought a Megger 1730 a few weeks ago, used it properly for the first time today and had no problems with it at all. Obviously everyone has their preference but I like the megger

I had the Megger, but it kept going away for repair for the selector switch. Think it was away 4 or 5 times.
i now have the fluke,
personally I thought the Megger was the best to use, but the fluke seems more reliable.

personally speaking, I think they are both good machines.
The case on the fluke is more user friendly.

Firm I use to work for used Fluke 1652/53 and the test electricians did nothing but moan about them saying they wanted a Megger so we purchased a Megger 1720 MFT and quess what they did nothing but moan about the Megger we just couldn't win what ever we did.

The 1720 isn't easy to use TBH compaired with the 1553, however once you have worked out how to use it is fine, I don't like the leads on the 1720 either, but will get use to them lol.
