Hi all,

A question concerning fusing of meter leads when over 3 meters long, the nice man from the niceic says there must be 2 pole isolation , and fusing, I have come across many different attempts at this , including r.c.ds,, main 60947-3 incomers, single pole m.c.b, Does anyone have a method that complies ?

Yeh, switsh fuse i have used before now, is there a double pole m.c.b availible ? spose you could use a 3 phase breaker in an enclosure?

Ahh , good, i think that is what the area engineer was angling at, also as it has to be as close to origin as poss, small enough to fit into the wall cabinet if your lucky !

Dont forget to check with DNO they decide the length of the tails and some of them insist on 2 metres as maximum length of tails.
