What is the difference between mi3100 and mi3000?Is the mi 3100 worth buying? Can you switch off the ze tables off.Need to replace my dilog tester, would you buy the mi3100

Hi ste kwok, the two main differences are that the MI3100 comes with the fuse breaking characteristics from BS7671:2008 downloaded into the firmware of the meter, which means that when you conduct a Zs test, the meter will basically give you a 'tick' or 'cross' indication as to whether the loop test has passed or failed. It's not a function that can be turned off.

The other main difference, and a lot of electricians find this useful, is the fact that the MI3100 comes with a tip commander probe. This is basically a probe with a button built in that makes it a lot easier to conduct tests, especially if you're trying to conduct a test on a ceiling rose, for example.

Hi ste kwok, not a problem. Yes, the tester will give you an earth loop impedance reading in ohms.

If you want to go ahead and place an order, make sure you click the link to our website on the right hand side of the forum so that you obtain your 5% discount! >>>>>>>>

Cheers
