I used a mates when we worked together as i have the dewalt and he had the one you mention. Got to say the milwaukee is the mutts nuts. I didn't want to swap back and i love my dewalt gear....lol

Has anyone had experience of using one of these little bad boys

Milwaukee Tool | Impact Drivers | M12™ Cordless LITHIUM-ION ¼" Hex Impact Driver

My second battery for my Makita 10 volt driver has finally packed up after a stupidly short time, so thought i'd stay clear of Makita this time round and get something decent.

Any reviews good or bad much appreciaitred

Lenny is now a BIG fan of Milwaukee power tools!! lol!!

The main contractors on the last 2 or 3 projects i've been involved with use(d) virtually all Milwaukee power hand tools. Can't give the Brand a better recommendation than that... lol!! Excellent kit!!!

The only problem with milwaukee gear is the cost last time i looked you had to sell a kidney or something like that to be able to afford it......lol

I got several bits of kit and they are brilliant. I use mine for drilling joists with no problems and they are much lighter than using the 18 volt. If you have a look for the road shows that pop up at various wholesalers, you can negotiate some really good deals.

I have the sawzall, a mini reciprocating saw on 12V bang on piece of kit,got me out of lumber a few times.

i would got for the Milwaukee M12 because of many good reviews from lots of websites.

They do a laser level that uses the same battery in this range and a heated jacket that runs off the m12 battery too. Seems like good stuff

Been using milwaukee gear for years and i can't fault it. Yes it is expensive to buy but it will last you for years :)

The 12v sds looks SMART! Kinda regretting the 10.8 makitas now

I spoke to somebody at a tool hire company (owner)who said that he was ditching a brand famous for short life batteries and going to change all his hire cordless over to milwaukee as he said they have a 3 year guarantee on their batteries......I couldn't bring myself to say to him at the time that the warranty probably didn't count for hire tools but I remembered there about the warranty he said they had......maybe that covers trade use....
