Just to let you know, I forgot to mention this on EF but have on the other forums. My bad.

When you're using a mobile phone or tablet to access the forum, and you use your keyboard / keypad on your device to insert a smilie face (emoji) into your post, it looks like it has inserted, but the moment you click save it disappears.

Instead of doing that, you will need to click the smilie face in the text options on the actual forum, which is next to the insert image button, and a new menu with smilie faces in it will pop up at the bottom of your post you're making. Use them all day long, they will load on the forum forever.

The reason for this is there are too many devices that use various smilie face sets for the forum to speak the same language of them all. Especially given the fact phones 4 years old are still in circulation and perhaps not getting updates from their makers.

So in short; don't use your phone emojis (hard to do at times you get so used to doing it automatically) and use the forum ones instead.
