Motor wiring. 1 or 3 phase?

Hello all. I have a problem that I'm sure someone can help with. The electric motor I have (pics attached) has no ratings plate. There are no supply wires shown, just the internal connection box wiring. The picture of the wiring diagram looks to be single phase but the box wiring has me doubtful. U, X1 & X2U2 go to what looks to me like a relay....the other 2 reds & 2 blues all go into the motor itself. Can anyone help please? What is this configuration? The third pic is just to show where the screw PE connection is (deep down, bottom middle). Thanks for your time. Dave.

It is single phase connected to run clockwise. Mains connection goes to U and U1.
No idea for voltage though.

looks like single phase to me. depending on how you connect R1,X1,U1,R2 determines the direction of rotation.

Thanks guys....I thought that but am at the 'unsure anymore' age! The red, yellow and blue colours of old 3 phase were not helping either! Cheers, Dave.
