Just popped into John Lewis to buy some scented sticks and look at the fabrics
and spotted the lighting department nearby. There was a leaflet 'Need your lighting installed?'.
Offering their customers bespoke service when purchasing their exorbitantly priced, Chinese made luminaires. For a modest fee, JL will deliver the fittings with one of their qualified lighting installers, who will carry out essential checks to make sure the installation complies with NICEIC* standards. 'We'll test your electrical circuit and wiring to ensure that everything is compatible and safe'.......blah blah. Making modifications to wiring, or building fabric & making good are not included.
£69 for the first light & £49 for every subsequent light. (Note to oneself, need to increase ones prices).
(*NICEIC, is the UK electrical contracting industry independent voluntary body).
Wonder if they do price match?
