Hey all! Just joined the forum today. I'll have a few questions as soon as I figure out what/how to ask. Planning some home decorating with my wife and got a few electrical projects on my mind. Please welcome me with open arms and don't bash too hard, but I can take it if needed. Thanks!

welcome to the forum.

Tip 1.
when putting up shelves or anything else that needs a hole drilling in the wall.
look up, down, left and right of where you want to drill. if an electrical accessory like a light switch or socket is roughly inline then dont start drilling!!

Welcome.

Don’t make the questions too hard. Some of these guys are still filling in test sheets with crayon.

I see you’re in the US of A, so many of your questions could be over our UK heads.
@Megawatt is the guy to answer.

Thanks

I'll try to keep questions to yes or no answers or maybe multiple choice if I'm really feeling good.
