if you keep pressing 0 and saying get human you get put straight through to an operator usually.

find where the number is then using the internet call the number registered at that address.

i got told off before when they told me this was not the right department but they put me straight through anyway

Yup. they ask you to enter your card number, internet passcode etc and then do additional checks verbally - why can't they just take the blxxdy call and do it once.

I do sometimes enter 0, at option and that often gets you to a "person" - whether they are in the UK and/or can communicate effectively in English is another matter!

When they ask for personal details for "Quality", "Security" and other shyte, I reply by asking them the same questions for the same reasons. It gets them proper confused it does.

So do I Geordie my company policy if we pay by credit card is the person I am talking to to give there name and address to stop fraud

Just keep pressing 1 until the tape player gives up and puts you through to a person

I find the best course of action is select the option that either suggests you want to buy something or want to leave, funnily enough most of the time they answer these calls immediately
