Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the following.
I am testing empty properties that are inspected by the client and have a list of items that they want doing, not major things just changing tatty fittings etc and a full test.
I have been replacing things to meet a certain minimum standard mainly RCD protection to the ring mains and thermal cutout stats to the immersion heaters where needed.
Now they basically complaining about costs and just want a sticker on the cu saying next test in 5 years.
As long as there are no code 1 items which I deem to be mainly direct contact can I do this as long as I list down all the problems on the cert as it says that for that date to stand all code 1 and 2 items should be remedied without delay?
I am employed so I am not trying to find more work but think rcd protection should be pretty standard nowadays.
What does everyone else deem to be a code 1?

Have a read at this it should explain everything you need.
