Customer has battery storage charged from solar panels and off peak supply. Should I be getting a 230v shock from the off peak cable when it's disconnected from the off peak DB? I would of thought there would be a diode to prevent 230v from the battery or solar panels from interacting with the off peak board. I fitted some Quantum storage heaters on a new off peak RCD board, got a significant tingle from the battery charging cable and the off peak board RCD won't stay on. Has the contactor (MCGMC3402NO2NC) been wired incorrectly? I can supply photos if it helps. Thanks

So the battery storage charges from the Off Peak board, then discharges to Day /Normal rate Board?
It must have connections to both Boards.

Did you fully isolate the Battery system before you disconnected it?

Were there any warning labels about isolation?

No safe isolation process then?
