MEGGER?

Could anyone tell the correct BS number for main switch. I have been told that it is 5419 and also told 5486 .I know they are both withdrawn numbers but am still unsure.:confused::confused:

In Domestic situations it is either BS 1361 or BS 88.

Thats the main cut out fuse BS numbers.

As to the OP, you got me thinking now and i cant remember!

I think either will be ok.

You wont get hung for using the incorrect one on a cert.

Ive got all this to replace on the weekend so if you can wait ill see if one is marked:D

:D

The tape is no longer, as is the cupboard that its all currently housed in.

Going to be doing it over a couple of Sundays as the owner doesnt want to shut shop.

This is only a small part of a big refurbishment project planned for the next few weeks.

Few more pics to follow.

Might even start a new 'project' thread.

It will be marked on the switch. If it isn't it won't have a bs no,so leave it blank.or even better write N/M(not marked)
rewireables-BS3036 usually 1ka but can go up to 4ka.
