MEGGER?

What type of jobs are required to undertake an assesment to qualify for a domestic installer.Confused about major/minor as I understood that under part p an installer could not do jobs such as cu changes, new circuits etc,and do the labc need to be informed about said works.Any advice on this would be most helpful. Many Thanks Gentleman/Ladies

depends what scope your going for ! full scope is one major (cu change or rewire etc) but you will need to inform labc before and poss after assessment ! one minor (replace broken socket or add new socket to ring etc) details should be on niceic/napit/elecsa web
hope this helps

I see the only problem with this work to show is the assessor will prob only consider your work for defind scope such as kitchen fitter or bathroom fitter etc if you want full scope you will need a complete rewire or cu change/upgrade
Give NIC/NAPIT/ELECSA a call before and they will advise
Regards
Tony
