Does anybody know if a subcontractor (i.e. me!) working for a larger contractor (domestic work only) will need my own Part P registration and Elecsa/Napit etc. registration? Or could i be covered under their registration???

Thanks

dave

Part P scheme providers usually cover memeber companies and their respected employees nominated to under take testing and certification. As a sub contractor you may not be covered. Might be an idea to ring they're respective scheme provider to check for certain.

If you are going to try and use your employers (or main contractors) membership it may be a good idea to get their approval in writing first.

Edit. Thinking about it if this OK, should all the forum members club together and use a single membership? That would save us all a shed load!
