Hi all,

Can any of you recommend a photocell or some type of photocell cover that would prevent LED soffit lights triggering the photocell. The beam angle of the soffit lights is hitting the photocell and triggering it to go on and off when dark. Was going to move the photocell but then wondered if there was a type that would detect from only the front or either a cover that would shelter the side of it....if this makes sense.

It's a standard dusk to dawn photocell at the moment - the one with the twist on head.

Thanks for suggestions. Would like to keep the position where it is rather than install it somewhere different.
 
Seems a bit extreme but I see your thinking. Whatever is most subtle but I've used the whiska boxes before or just any small square adaptable pvc box to allow you to fix the miniphoto cell on the side away from the light...unless your sensor is directly below the downlights I suppose
