I would suggest reading the installation instructions for the lights to determine if they have an internal manual override or fit a separate PIR sensor with an external manual override switch.
A lot of the descriptions state with manual override so a search for "PIR Wall lantern manual override" should get you some results.

I'd already been scouring installation instructions but hadn't had much luck. I want one with an internal manual override because the customer doesn't want a separate sensor. I'd already tried almost those exact words but in a different order and hadn't had a lot of luck, but have now tried those exact words and found a couple more options, so thanks.
 
most units have the feature that if you flick the switch off/on twice within a few seconds, they come on manually. then switch off/on with a gap of 30 seconds they revert to PIR operation. check out Timeguard PIR floods ( halogen or LED). These also can be wired in 3core/E so the 3rd core is for manual switching.
