Basically that means if the cables are above the tray and are supported by the tray, then it’s ok. If the cables are below the tray.... not ok.If the cable tray is supporting the cables sufficiently to prevent premature collapse then there is no need to support them further.
@telectrix what make/brand do you prefer for the wireless fire alarm systems? I have been reading up on it recently as fire alarm systems are the next course and thing to get my teeth into.not a problem with my installations. detectors are all wireless. system installed in a day. no cables, no chasing, no surface. no brainer.
