The Pump House for my Water Well is located way out in a field about 350 Ft from the house. It is wired with Romex 14-2 with a Ground. I have 2 Generators and want to set up one in the Pump House so I can have water whenever we have a power outage. I am going to dis-connect the 14-2 from the Power Control Switch and connect it to a Receptacle I'm going to mount on the nearby wall. Then connect a Flexible 14-2 with Ground 5 Ft cord to the Switch and plug it in to the Receptacle. This way whenever there would be an outage, all I would need to do is start the Generator and un-plug the cord from the Receptacle and plug it into the Generator.

Just wanted to run this by you all for a green light go.

Thanks
