Earthstore

Well chaps, here I am at it again, but this time the customer called me.
This lady is 83yrs old, sadly recently widowed, so a little emotional to say the least.
System installed about a year ago, but it had stopped working, and she needed to take a meter reading, the installation company said it would be over a week before they could have a look, the good news is the system was fitted quite well, everything in the right place and labeled up too, and the fault was that it had tripped at its own supply.
I think I know why it may have tripped, but will have to wait for a very sunny day to check the voltage.

Here is the sad news, when they bought their 6 panel system they were told it was £18000 but they were offered it with a 50% discount, a special offer...
£9000 discount, that's is a little higher than the £200 maximum that is in the REA code....
Just thought I would share with you some of the sales tactics that do really happen.

Come on REA, it is about time you did something, your code is just useless unless you enforce it!

we need to get earthstore a PV Police badge.

(and maybe a uniform like a green version of the blue coppers uniforms, and a copy of KRS One (Woop Woop that's the sound of the police) for his van stereo to be played on arrival at a suspect installation.)

You mean REAL. If you email real with evidence of the contract they assured me they will investigate. I've passed similar miss selling on (that one was a double glaze window firm).
