Anyone had much luck with these? I fitted 2x to the same circuit that had been working fine for weeks with the standard Quinetic switch QUR303.

First one gave disco effect and wouldn't turn off. Button on receiver turned red led indicator on and off but no effect on output

Second one never turned the lighting on. Red led indicator stayed on and flashed off once per 3 seconds. Pressing the button on the receiver did nothing.

Controlling 4x Integral 7 watt led dimmable gu10 lamps.

Should i assume these things are junk? The standard receiver I've fitted probably 20-30 of and find the excellent. No failures to report. That's 2 of 2 dimmers that have not worked out of the box.

I have fitted several of both the QU R301 units with the standard white dimming switches and had no problems with them whatsoever, don't forget this unit is only 1a Max although it does have in-rush suppression! Having said that your total is only around 28watts are they compatible with the dimming function, I have found some fittings will not work well with the quinetic units! I would try the usual suspects like complete reset and if that doesn't work try a different led fitting.
The QU R303 is the standard one I think, I have used for years in some extreme places and never had any issues!
Technical support is very good if you get really stuck!
