EDT are currently working with an ACT based organisation that are looking to employ 2 x Regulatory Managers - Networks (1 x Senior role) on a permanent basis.
The primary purpose of this role is to contribute at a senior level the technical regulatory process to ensure that the business is compliant with technical regulation and reporting requirements, and is proactive at addressing technical regulatory issues and opportunities.
This role is expected to undertake planning and progress reporting through a range of regulatory interactions including technical rules developments, price determinations and resets and service level assessments.

Some of the duties to be undertaken in this role are listed below:
• Lead data provision and analysis for economic and technical regulation, and work closely with corporate resources on reporting, or throughout the determination process. Ensure the delivery of reports.
• Develop and implement business policies and processes supporting regulatory requirements
• Provide sound advice to senior management on regulatory impacts
• Represent the business during electricity regulatory forums and reviews (as required)
• Lead annual reviews of network tariffs and loss factors
Qualifications / Education
• Demonstrated management experience in dealing with the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) as well as jurisdictional technical regulators
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory reviews and reporting
• Team management skills including planning and budgeting, organising and staffing, and monitoring and problem solving
• Negotiation skills necessary to build effective stakeholder relationships
