Hi all

I'll freely admit, I'm out of my depth here.
I've been asked to sort some lighting in a bathroom do do the following:
Main lights and some accent lights from one switch.
Mirror lights and the same set of accent lights from another.

I guess it can be done using 230v relays, but haven't a clue how to go about designing the circuit and specification of relays etc.

Can anyone help me through it?

Mnny thanks

Tony

3 lights. Main, mirror and accent.
1 standard 2g 2w light switch.
Configuration:
Main / Accent on or off
Mirror / Accent on or off

With the probability of both on at same time. - So
Sw1. Sw2
Up Up All off
Up Down Main off - Accent on - Mirror on
Down Up Main on - Accent on - Mirror off
Down Down Main on - Accent on - Mirror on

Hope this makes sense

I'm struggling a little with that one. Switch isn't powered and I only have 2x 2core to play with.

Ok, so you only have 4 wires to play with.
Are these 2 switches separate or in the same switch unit? (2 gang unit)
